HOW TO TAKE THE TEMPLATES OF YOUR MOTORCYCLE ?

Do you want a customized decorative kit for your motorcycle but it is not yet listed on our site? This means that we do not have the templates for it. But don't panic, several choices are available to you. If you are in the Lyon region or just passing through, you can come directly to our workshop so that we can take the templates directly from your motorcycle. Remember to make an appointment beforehand by sending us a message directly here: CONTACT

If you are not from the area, you can send us the fairings directly to: 33 av. du Dr Georges Levy, 69200 Vénissieux. We can offer you the installation option at an additional cost, Contact Us For more information.

The final option is to take the templates yourself and send them to us at the same address, or to scan them and send them to us by email. Here's the tutorial:

What you will need:

  • Marking tape (preferably thick)
  • A black pen or marker
  • Sheets of paper
  • A pair of scissors

1- Fairing Preparation:

Start by covering the first part of the fairing with masking tape strips, overlapping them until the entire fairing is covered. It's important to keep in mind that this surface will become a sticker, so avoid overly sharp angles or too small parts to ensure the application remains feasible.

2- Outline design:

Using black marker, draw the outline of the sticker directly onto the marking tape. (already on the fairings or the one that will be created later).

Attention You need to draw the outline of the future sticker! And not the outline of the fairing. To do this, follow the shape of the fairing while maintaining a margin of approximately 2/3mm from the edge.. If it is still simpler for you to follow the outline of the fairing, then indicate on a note when sending the templates that the margins were taken from the edge. We will then be able to reduce their size to apply the safety margin.

If in some places a cut is necessary, such as for screw holes or other marked angles. Indicate it with dotted lines.

3- The Decal:

Once the outline is made, carefully peel off all the strips of the masking tape at once and lay them flat on one or more sheets of paper. You can then neatly cut off the excess tape and paper with scissors. Finally, indicate on the template which part it is (for example: lower part of the right front fairing).
