Install yourself in a clean, dry place, protected from wind and dust. Work on cool or ambient temperature wheel rims.

The stickers, a pair of scissors, and some pieces of tape to prepare the positioning.

A cleaner suitable for your wheel rim and your stickers, as well as a clean microfibre cloth.

A squeegee. A hairdryer can be useful to slightly soften the vinyl, only if necessary.

The method shown in the video is a dry application. Follow your kit's instructions if your material requires special care.
Prepare the kit elements
Cut out the different stickers with scissors, leaving a margin around each one. Divide them by wheel and by side, then run the squeegee over the transfer film before peeling off the backing paper.

Clean and dry the rims
Carefully remove dust, grease marks and residue from cleaning products. Use a product compatible with the finish of your wheel rims and allow the surface to dry completely.

Check the dry fit
Present the stickers without removing their backing. Hold them in place with small pieces of tape, then step back to check their orientation, centering, and spacing between elements.

Stick bit by bit
Peel back a small part of the backing paper and fix the start of the sticker. Progress with the squeegee from the centre towards the edges, removing the paper as you go. On curves, proceed slowly; if necessary, very lightly warm the vinyl with a hairdryer.
The right reflex. Don't apply the whole sticker at once with your fingers. Avoid overheating.
Remove the transfer film
Wipe over the entire surface with the squeegee, paying attention to the edges. Then fold the transfer film almost flat against the wheel rim and slowly peel it back on itself. If the sticker lifts, reposition the film, smooth it down again and proceed gently.

Check the finishes
Check that the ends are properly applied and repeat the method for the other elements. The adhesive continues to cure after application: leave the motorbike at rest if possible and do not wash the wheel rims immediately.

Not rushing.
Work in small areas and maintain control over positioning. A few minutes of care are better than having to redo an entire sticker.

- Apply to a dirty, greasy or damp wheel rim.
- Start without checking the alignment.
- Apply the entire adhesive surface in one go.
- Pull the transfer film off sharply.
- Overheating the vinyl or washing the wheels immediately after fitting.

Is this tutorial suitable for my kit?
The demonstration concerns a classic wheel rim kit. It presents the preparation and application steps with transfer film. A Rings kit follows a different method: use its dedicated tutorial. Fitting the Kit'Express is identical to that of the classic kit.
Do I need to remove the wheels?
The demonstration of the classic kit is carried out with the wheels fitted to the motorbike. Ensure you have sufficient access and the motorbike is correctly stabilised. Do not remove a wheel solely because another tutorial advises it: the Rings kits have their own constraints.
Should the stickers be applied dry or wet?
The new tutorial shows dry application on a clean and perfectly dry wheel rim. Do not add water under the decal unless specifically indicated for your material. If in doubt, contact M-Stickers before proceeding.
The sticker remains on the backing paper. What to do?
Place the transfer film back down and run the squeegee over the area so that the vinyl adheres to the film. Slowly repeat without pulling directly on the sticker.
What to do if a small bubble remains visible?
Start by trying to gently push the air towards an edge with the squeegee. The tutorial also shows a very fine perforation for a small persistent bubble. If the area deforms or if you are unsure about your material, stop and contact us before you damage it.
When can the motorbike be washed?
Avoid washing the wheel rims immediately after fitting and do not direct a high-pressure jet close to the stickers. The precise curing time depends on the vinyl, the substrate and the conditions: follow the instructions provided with your kit.
